Principal – Dr. Elizabeth Crowe

Dr. Elizabeth Crowe was honored to join the University Academy as principal in 2015. Her career in education began as a classroom teacher in Bay County where she taught all elementary grades, including preschool and music, from 1998 to 2005. After receiving her Ph.D., she opened an office of the Florida Center for Reading Research in Panama City to conduct research in local schools and develop effective strategies and interventions to improve reading and math achievement. During this time she also joined the University Academy Board of Directors as a founding board member from 2012-2014. Most recently, she served as an Associate Professor in Elementary Education at Florida State University, Panama City, teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Dr. Crowe and her husband, Jason, have two children, Elias and Katie who are both proud to be UA Eagles!
