Middle School at University Academy includes grades 6th and 8th school year. Our unique curricula continues with the same excellence as elementary school while providing students with an opportunity to explore their personal areas of interest in a safe and welcoming environment.
How is Middle School different at University Academy?
New Facilities: During 2016 middle school students were welcomed to a new facility called Phase Two – the latest renovation at University Academy. This addition provided 9 spacious classrooms, restrooms for middle school, and a media and technology center.
New Faces: University Academy recruits highly qualified and effective teachers to lead middle school students through three important years of their school experience. These teachers are experts in their field and passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.
New Classes: Students at University Academy are offered longer blocks of instructional time in core classes to allow for advanced learning opportunities as well as additional support where needed. UA offers both grade level and advanced options for placement including high school credit classes and AP classes.
New Choices: Student have an elective period where they are offered choices that match their areas of interest.
New Clubs: Club times are offered during the class day on Fridays as well as after school.
